Well, because my mom deserves them and she doesn't get anything from my Dad just because.
Shit, she barely gets anything from him on her birthday, Valentine's Day, or their anniversary.
So I thought I would bring my mother some joy and express my gratitude to her and all that she does, even if we butt heads from time to time.
I love and deeply admire that woman.
